Frequently asked questions

What does SRT to Text do?

It removes the cue numbers and timestamps from your subtitles and keeps only the spoken text, giving you a clean transcript you can read, edit or feed into other tools.

Can I keep line breaks?

Yes. Use the "keep line breaks" option to preserve the breaks within each subtitle. Leave it off to join each subtitle into a single line.

Does it work with VTT files too?

Yes. Both SRT and VTT files are supported. The WEBVTT header, timestamps and inline tags are all stripped automatically.
